The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has got a new competition core (Tube Fin) with following dimensions 700 mm x 300 mm x 90 mm / 27,5 Inch x 11,8 Inch x 3,54 Inch. This high-performance core offers an 262 % larger frontal surface and 150 % more core volume compared to the stock intercooler.
The aluminium cast endtanks were designed in CAD and optimised in CFD simulations (for an ideal internal airflow). The result is a excellent cooling property with a minimal back pressure. That`s why this kit is perfect for racing use. An optimal cooling effect of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion powder coating with perfect heat-conducting properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from all environmental influences, so a lasting and optimal cooling effect can be guaranteed. The installation is done by replacing the original intercooler and is easy to perform (plug and play). All our products are subject to a continuous quality monitoring.
Inlet diameter: Ø63,5 mm/2,5 Inch ; Outlet diameter Ø76 mm/3,0 Inch
The kit also includes complete boost and charge pipes, to swap the intercooler into the front.
Important notes for the installation:
- 100% Plug and Play installation
- SMIC to FMIC swap (including all necessary parts)
- expansion tank have to be repositioned (included to the kit)
- cooling loop for the power steering have be repositioned (included to the kit)
- charge pipes have needs to be replaced (included to the kit)
