T7Design 3.5kw Lightweight Water Race Car Heaters are ideally suited to race cars where lightweight and compactness are of the utmost importance without sacrificing heat output.
This lightweight heater uses a powerful, space saving axial fan coupled with an efficient copper heater matrix to offer heating performance normally delivered by units twice its size!
A class of its own in terms of output for size, build quality and cost.
Factory fabricated to a preset configuration that will suit the majority of track users.
The total typical weight reduction over a OEM heating system can be in excess of 5kg!

Expectations:
- Small Track Cars - This lightweight heater achieves the ideal balance of size, weight and heat output making it perfect for small, kit and classic cars.
- Medium/Large Track Cars - This heater is powerful enough to operate as a demister in larger cars. Directing all 4 outlets to the windscreen provides a very powerful & quick demist function, this makes it perfectly suited to the needs of race and rally enthusiasts who also require the lightest components.
We recommend the following additional items in order for this to be a complete kit:
- 2 Position T7Design Switch - This is to switch the race car heater on & off
- T7Design Heater Hose Bulkhead Adaptor - The adaptor size depends on the factory coolant water hose/pipe that goes from the engine bay to the bulkhead
- 1/2" (13mm) T7Design Heater Hose - This is to connect the bulkhead adaptor to the race car heater
- 2" (51mm) T7Design Air/Demister Vents - This heater allows up to 4 vents in total
- 2" (51mm) T7Design Ducting - This is to connect to the 2" air/demister vents
- 1/2" (13mm) T7Design Brass Heater Valve - This is optional and will isolate the water flow to just within the engine bay if desired (bowden cable & valve switch will also be needed)
