SACHS Performance Clutch Kit (Manual) - Volkswagen Golf GTI MK7

SACHS Performance Clutch Kits are a must when increasing power, as they deliver more transmittable torque and more stability, offering a longer life with superior thermal resistance.

Each SACHS Performance Clutch kit consists of a performance friction disc with special friction material, a reinforced clutch cover and a release bearing.

A direct fit to the existing flywheel, but is advised to be installed with a new flywheel.

ORGANIC FRICTION PLATE CLUTCH:
The specially designed organic friction plate is similar to the original manufacturers clutch kit, and is perfect for the daily driven car. Higher clamping pressure is provided by the uprated pressure plate, which when combined with the organic friction plate, makes this clutch kit is an ideal upgrade for modified engines where better torque handling of the clutch is required.

SINTERED FRICTION PLATE CLUTCH:
The specially designed sintered friction plate is a multi-puck sintered cera-metallic friction disc that feature a much higher friction co-efficient than organic, which allows for higher transmittable torque. However it is not usually recommended for day to day use. The uprated heavy duty pressure plate provides high clamping pressure, which when combined with the sintered paddle friction plate, is an ideal upgrade for highly tuned engines where much higher torque handling of the clutch is required. Please note that due to the reinforced materials and components, that the pedal force can increase and the modulation range reduced giving an "on-off" feel to the clutch. This is a Motorsport style of clutch, so you do need to expect some level of compromise with judder on take-off, and can produce additional noises from the clutch and transmission.
