Royal Purple Purple Ice Super Coolant Additive is a high performance radiator conditioner that reduces coolant temperatures.
Its advanced 2-in-1 corrosion inhibitor and wetting agent provides year-round defense against corrosion and reduces the surface tension of the radiator coolant to help reduce engine temperatures.
Another benefit of the Purple Ice Super Coolant Additive is that it immediately pacifies the aluminium in the radiator. This means that it can be used with straight water in aluminium radiators immediately with no risk or concern of any adverse affects on the aluminium.
In both "Temperature Reduction" testing and the "ASTM D4340 Corrosion" testing, the Royal Purple Purple Ice Super Coolant® Additive outperformed all competitive branded coolants.
It reduces engine heat by reducing the surface tension of the radiator fluids for improved heat transfer.
A recommended product for all water/glycol pressurized cooling systems, including those using the traditional green (silicate based) or the newer extended life antifreezes.
To be used in conjunction with antifreeze when recommended by the manufacturer and in regions where freezing temperatures occur.
Helps prevent the formation of scale deposits in the radiator and lubricates the water pump seals.
Supplied in a 12oz/355ml bottle.
Royal Purple Purple Ice Super Coolant Additive features:
- Reduces coolant surface tension to allow greater heat transfer, resulting in lower coolant temperatures
- Reduces hot spots in the engine and cylinder heads, reducing the possibility of engine failure
- Helps prevent overheating, keeps the system clean and extends the life of the water pump
- Compatible with OEM and stock replacement coolants, including extended-life antifreezes
- Does not contain glycol and is safe and legal for track use
- Safe to use with water-only & antifreeze/water blends
Royal Purple Purple Ice Super Coolant Additive water to coolant ratio:
- For use with water only, use 2oz. per quart of cooling system capacity
- For use with antifreeze, use 1oz. per quart of cooling system capacity
NOTE* Minimum of 20% antifreeze is recommended in street-driven vehicles. Purple Ice does not provide freeze protection. Use an appropriate amount of antifreeze for the cold temperatures in your geographical area.

Unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided they’re in original packaging and resellable condition.
