The RacingLine Sport Shock Absorber & Spring Kit is a complete, performance-matched suspension package designed to deliver sharper handling, a more purposeful stance and a controlled ride, without the harshness often associated with aftermarket suspension upgrades.

FITMENT NOTICE:
This kit is designed for Volkswagen Golf MK8 GTI models with standard (passive) suspension only. It is not compatible with vehicles fitted with DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) adaptive dampers. If your car is equipped with DCC, this kit will not work with the factory control system.

Engineered as a Matched System - Springs and dampers need to work together. Fitting lowering springs to standard dampers can lead to a bouncy ride and accelerated damper wear, as the original units are not designed to control the stiffer spring rates. RacingLine have addressed this by developing both components side by side. The dampers use a dual-tube construction with high-quality oil to resist fade during sustained hard driving, and the springs are wound to tight tolerances for consistent ride height and rates across the axle.

The tuning approach is drawn from RacingLine’s Motorsport programme, then refined for road use. You get a setup that feels planted and precise when pushed, but does not punish you over poor surfaces or speed bumps.
