Made from imported Japanese steel these diffs are 'forged' and 'cryo-tempered' for unsurpassed toughness. They are designed to withstand the extreme shock loads of competition-level drag racing. Advanced gear geometry designed using industry-leading software puts more power to the ground and the highest quality Brighton-Best hardware is used. Maintenance-free gears eliminates the need for special fluids & rebuilds associated with plate-type LSDs. Lock-free operation ensures no adverse affect to steering response.
When installing your MFactory Helical LSD, only use Torco Manual Transmission Fluid (MTF). This is the only oil MFactory recommend. It is also recommended to install new diff bearings.

WELDING FINAL DRIVES
It's not as simple as machining off the oem ring gear and welding it onto to the LSD:
1) Machine off oem ring gear
2) Machine the surface flat
3) Machine bolt holes into ring gear
4) Machine spacer (with bolt holes) so that the ring gear sits at the same height on the LSD vs oem Diff
Alternatively, you can purchase our final drive which bolts straight onto our LSD and doesn't require any spacers.
