Worn drop links can make a knocking noise as the suspension travels up and down, gentle at first but can quickly wear more, and become quite severe, and may even break. It's also noting that any free play in the joints will result in an MOT failure!
Replacing worn drop links, often cures the knocking sound in the suspension. The anti roll bar has a great affect on the handling & stability of the car, and the anti roll bar mounts to the suspension components of the car via drop links. Once the drop links wear or even break, the handling of the car will be greatly compromised!
