AIRTEC Turbocharger Cooler Kit - Ford Fiesta MK7 ST180/ST200

AIRTEC Turbocharger Cooler Kits are designed to cool the super-heated coolant as it leaves the turbocharger, this turbo cooler kit helps improve both the car’s cooling capacity and ability.

These have been proven to be hugely effective, reducing peak temperatures by approximately 10°C during hard track use!

Fits neatly behind the front bumper and fed air through the fog light opening (fog light must be removed), the kit features a sealed FDM scoop to direct all air flow through the turbo cooler’s core.

The comprehensive kit comes complete with mounting brackets, Pro Hoses silicone lines and all fittings, as well as detailed installation instructions.

How it works - when modifying the Fiesta ST180/ST200 to increase power and torque, an unavoidable by-product is the additional heat level that’s transferred to the car’s cooling system. This extra strain can be combated by improving engine cooling efficiency to reduce operating temperatures and one of the most effective ways of doing that is with a turbo cooler. By teeing into the coolant line circuit that leaves the turbo and introducing a separate radiator, the AIRTEC cooler kit offers an immediate reduction in temperature to help counteract the effects of the coolant being superheated as it passes through the turbo; the hottest part of the car. This helps improve overall capacity and cooling ability, allowing the car to maintain a steadier temperature for longer during hard use.

The Solution - developed from a 3D scan and CAD software for perfect fitment, the turbo cooler fits neatly behind the bumper and is fed a constant flow of fresh air from the fog light opening (fog light needs to be removed) through a sealed scoop made from Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) to ensure all air flow is directed through the turbo cooler’s core.
