AIRTEC Stage 2 Front Mount Intercooler Kit - Ford Fiesta ST MK8

Slotting in between the Stage 1 and Stage 3 solutions, AIRTEC's mid-range intercooler’s size and performance has been increased within the confines of the limited space behind the bumper based upon a core design that is much taller.

In order to ensure there is no noticeable loss in performance during extended periods of hard driving, AIRTEC have developed a larger, freer-flowing intercooler that is a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM item.

This intercooler offers a massive increase in overall capacity in comparison to the original intercooler, as well as a huge increase in frontal area over standard, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided.

Together with AIRTEC's high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume over standard.

Available in a high quality powder coated black finish, the comprehensive kit is a direct replacement and attaches to the original boost pipes and clips. It comes complete with all fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed fitting instructions.

TESTED ON TRACK
AIRTEC have tested the Stage 1, 2 and 3 intercoolers back-to-back at Brands Hatch circuit to see how the levels compare with each other. As expected, the Stage 2 offered notably better gains compared to the Stage 1 thanks to its much bigger core, but it could not match the Stage 3’s ability.
