AIRTEC Gobstopper Front Mount Intercooler Kit - Nissan GTR R35

Following an extensive development process spanning the past 2 years, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch their new ‘Gobstopper’ large capacity intercooler kit suitable for highly modified Stage 4 and above R35 GTRs that require the very highest level of cooling efficiency and performance for track or fast road use.

This comprehensive kit has been designed, developed and tested in the UK after thorough research. During this time AIRTEC tried and tested a variety of end tank designs, boost pipe connectors as well as both a tube-and-fin and a bar-and-plate core.

The finished design AIRTEC chose for optimum performance features 3” formed inlet and outlet pipes that flow freely through custom end tanks into a huge, 110mm deep bar-and-plate core capable of 1500bhp! The design makes full use of the car’s lower grille area and features an angled air deflector to further aid flow.

It therefore offers a huge increase in surface area and volume over standard, and radically reduces charge temperatures, which is ideal for tuned GT-Rs running increased boost pressures.

The kit fits neatly behind the original bumper but does require modification to the original plastic intercooler surround. The extensive kit is also made up of a 20-piece big boost pipe and hose connector kit, which includes pre-turbo induction pipes and AIRTEC foam air filters, along with all fixtures and fittings needed to install.

Low air temperatures result to a increase in power.

Intercooler is available with or without an "AIRTEC" logo.
